Bud break and veraison are my favorites of the set. We were in the north of Israel this weekend. All the vinyards looked so green and lush. The rolling hills turning green, the poppies, the wildflowers, the blue sky . . everything was so gorgeous. We are still in winter mode here, even though I got to mow the lawn yesterday! (Then I sprained both ankles stepping into a hole). Good news/bad news.
