Pam . . . I know, although from what I hear, I'd better get used to that!

White On Rice Couple . . . Thank you! I'll be interested to hear how your market classes go. It's great that you're getting people interested about food from the source. Good for you!

Susan . . . Why thank you so much! It's so great to get all of your support. Gives me confidence to keep stepping out.

I just watched the clips Lia, and you were fantastic! You have what you can't teach people: presence.

I can't believe that goulash is fewer cals than a grilled cheese! Who would have thought? I look forward to future clips as I'm sure that tv station has already booked you again. :)

Oh Lia, your presence, dialogue, instruction and overall presentation has got to be on the best that I've seen on television! I was completely riveted to everything you had to say and prepare. I watched it twice, for practice....just in case I get asked what "caraway" is and know how to respond brilliantly like you did!
Next month we'll be teach a Farmers Market cooking class where we take participants to the market, purchase vegetable there and take it back to the class to prepare Asian vegetarian dishes. We'll be adding many spices to these dishes, but now I've learned that I need to really STUDY more about these before our students start asking questions!!
Thanks for sharing the wonderful videos!

You did a great job! I love that they put someone who obviously rarely cooks to work on a cooking segment!

Lia - I'm making the goulash right now . . . ..it is close to the recipe I've used for 30 years. Except I cut the onions in rings and brown them first. Also, I replaced the carrots with mushrooms. I found the Muir tomatoes . .. smells heavenly. I could not find carroway seeds at my local market. . .

Peter . . . I hear you! I did almost let out a "pfft" once, playing along with what I thought was a joke. But I caught myself.

RecipeGirl . . . I had no idea it would do that! I'm just glad there were no flames involved. ;-)

Robin . . . Thank you! And I hope by now you've got something comfy in the oven.

Mike . . . Thank you!

Stephanie . . . Glad you liked!

Patrick . . . Thank you for the links. I Googled it on my Blackberry just after the show--not a whole lot to say there, eh? Cheers!

Lia,
How fabulous! I honestly don't know you that well, but I could actually hear your inner voice as most of us in the industry would have similar responses. Whatever you do keep smiling, respond nicely, and redirect to the task and website. The 2nd interviewer seemed determined to ask you questions that no one would have prepared the answer to as they are counter to the goal of the recipe!
